Home Lift Sydney respects your privacy and allows you to request deletion of personal information associated with you.

This includes information that may have been provided through:

• HLS Hub
• The Home Lift Sydney client portal
• Facebook Messenger
• Instagram direct messages
• Facebook or Instagram comments
• Email or other customer communications

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your personal information, email:

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant records.

This may include:

• Your full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Facebook name or profile details, where relevant
• Instagram username, where relevant
• Project address or other information that helps us locate your records

Please do not send passwords, access tokens or other account security credentials.

Identity Verification

We may need to verify your identity before deleting personal information.

This is to help prevent unauthorised deletion requests.

What Happens Next

Once we receive and verify your request, we will review the information associated with you and delete or de-identify information where reasonably possible.

Some information may need to be retained where required or permitted for:

• Legal obligations
• Contracts
• Accounting and taxation requirements
• Warranty and service records
• Safety records
• Dispute resolution
• Fraud prevention
• Legitimate business record keeping

Where information must be retained, we will restrict its use to the purpose for which retention is required.

Facebook and Instagram Data

If you have interacted with Home Lift Sydney through Facebook or Instagram, your request may include information received through those platforms and stored in Home Lift Sydney systems.

Deleting information held by Home Lift Sydney does not automatically delete information held independently by Meta, Facebook or Instagram.

Requests relating directly to data held by Meta should be made through the relevant Meta account or privacy settings.

Timeframe

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a reasonable period and process verified requests as soon as reasonably practicable.
